Janna Reilly is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor- Associate. She obtained her Bachelors in Psychology and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Janna has experience working in a community mental health setting where, in addition to working with individual clients, she facilitated multiple groups for a wide range of individuals. She has worked extensively with teenagers, adults and older adults.
Janna uses a person-centered approach to therapy focusing on clients as an individual, creating a supportive space to collaboratively work through challenges. Recognizing an individual is more than their presenting concern, she finds it important to look at the person as a whole rather than a narrow view. Through this holistic approach she has confidence working with diagnoses including depression, anxiety, bipolar and personality disorders. She also has extensive work with therapeutic concerns including communication, transitional periods, relationships, chronic pain, trauma and addiction.
Viewing therapy as a partnership, Janna finds it important for both the client and therapist to work together toward taking steps, no matter how big or small. In this partnership, her genuine passion for helping people can be seen through her empathy and caring nature. Janna is driven by the belief in counseling that it can bring a positive element in one’s life.
